WCC Biomedical marked a significant milestone this June by participating in the Annual Conference of the Taiwanese Association for Andrology and Sexual Medicine (TAASM), one of Taiwan’s premier gatherings of urological and sexual medicine professionals. The two-day event brought together leading physicians, researchers, and clinical specialists from across the country, with WCC Biomedical featured prominently on both the keynote stage and the exhibition floor.
Keynote Presentation: A New Frontier in Men's Health Delivery
WCC Biomedical was invited to present on the transformative clinical potential of microarray patch (MAP) technology for men’s health and wellness. The presentation detailed how our proprietary transdermal delivery platform offers a precise, minimally invasive, and patient-friendly alternative to traditional oral or injectable formulations.
The audience—composed predominantly of highly experienced urologists and andrologists—engaged with remarkable depth. A lively Q&A session followed, with attendees asking probing questions about microneedle mechanics, dissolution behavior, skin penetration depth, and the suitability of MAP technology across specific therapeutic categories. This enthusiastic response confirmed what we have long known: clinicians are actively searching for more effective, precision-engineered delivery solutions, and our MAP technology is positioned to answer that call.
Exhibition Booth: Hands-On Innovation with Lite-Med Inc.
Beyond the keynote stage, WCC Biomedical set up a shared exhibition booth with our strategic collaborator, Lite-Med Inc. Their extensive expertise in urology-adjacent medical devices perfectly complemented our biomedical innovation capabilities.
Throughout the conference, our booth served as a hub for healthcare professionals drawn to the prospect of next-generation clinical technology.
